Francis Carl Sheppard

Francis Carl Sheppard, 75, of Caraway, passed away Sept. 1, 2022, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran, a truck driver and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Sheppard was born Aug. 30, 1947, in Cash to Oscar and Tommie Meeker Sheppard. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James Burrow; and one sister, Wanda Mae Kidd.

He is survived by two daughters, Ruby Amanda Huffins of Paragould and Mika Sherfield of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; four brothers, Charles Thomas Sheppard, Luther Roy Sheppard, David H. Sheppard, all of Lepanto, and Nute T. Sheppard of Caraway; three sisters, Glenda Sheppard of Gosnell, Mildred Collins of Caraway and Sharon Gann of Luxora; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Potter's Cemetery in Lepanto, with Bro. David Sheppard and Bro. Allen Gates officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
