Melanie Anne Peek Cornelison

Melanie Anne Peek Cornelison, 54, of Manila, passed from this life Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Hospital in Little Rock. Born in Bisbee, Ariz., and raised in DeKalb, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Carolyn Cox Peek and had been a Manila resident since 2015. Melanie was a homemaker and enjoyed doing arts/crafts and listening to music. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Cody Peek, and brother, Markie Peek.

Survivors include two daughters, Krista Holt and husband Hunter and Brandi Crocker, all of Manila; two brothers, Jamie Peek and Andy Peek, both of Jonesboro; one sister, Kayla White of Maud, Texas. She also leaves six grandchildren with one on the way, and a very special "sister," Kim Maggard of Pearcy.
