Terry Lynn Treadway, 65, of Dell, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022 at his home.

Terry was born in Dell to Curry M. and Martha Amy Pritchard Treadway. He was a graduate of Dell High School and was a lifelong resident of Dell. Terry served his country with honor in the United States Air Force where he retired after 20 years of service. During his time in the military, he worked on B-52 bombers and was awarded the good conduct metal. Terry proudly protected and served his community for 18 years as a deputy with the Mississippi County Sherriff’s Department. He worked tirelessly in patrol and transportation where he earned the rank of corporal. Terry served on the Blytheville Emergency Squad and also dedicated his time as a volunteer firefighter to the Dell Fire Department. He enjoyed working security and assisting with community events. He enjoyed going to football games and playing basketball. When he wasn’t working in the community, Terry loved going fishing, mowing yards and spending time with family and friends that he loved so dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank and Woodrow Treadway; and sisters, Ann Cansdale and Jean Lollar.

Terry is survived by his children, Terry Treadway II and his wife Michelle, Carle Treadway and his wife Chasadie and Clarissa Treadway, all of Gosnell, and Keri Henderson and her husband Josh of Manila; grandchildren, Anna Treadway, Jacob Treadway, Cheznie Treadway, Dalton Treadway, Landon Henderson, Raelynn Henderson, Harley Henderson, Cayden Treadway, Conner Holifield, Chase Treadway, Cody Treadway, Joseph Wilson, Jr., Connor Wilson, Calvin Treadway, and Derrick Wamble, Jr.; brother, Benny Treadway of Leachville; and sisters, Linda Labor of Florida, Sherry Pierce of Gosnell and Marti Barnard of Florida.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 5, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Pankey officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.
