Mary Louise Dickerson

Mary Louise Dickerson, 86, of Manila, widow of Floyd William Dickerson, passed from this life Sunday, July 17, 2022, at the Manila Nursing Center in Manila. Born in Keiser, she was the daughter of the late Leonard "Leon" and Esther Gray Manley and had lived most of her life in Manila. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Dell. Mary enjoyed cooking, sewing, fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Roland Greer; three daughters, Tammy Ann Dickerson, Tina Louise Greer and Shirley Diane Routh.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Brown of Jonesboro and Lovina Roll (Greg) of Manila; one sister, Bertha Brooks of Manila. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 22, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Jeff Knowlton officiating. Serving as active pallbearers will be Dale Dickerson, Greg Roll, C.J. Carruth, James Cook, Trevor Greer and Domanik Sammons. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery.
