Lloyd Lamad Anderson

Lloyd Lamad Anderson was born Sept. 11, 1977, in Blytheville to Lloyd Anderson and Deborah “De Ella” Daniels. “Wee Wee”, as he was affectionally called, loved being around his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Anderson; the father that raised him, A.B. Love; his grandmother Mrs. Lula Mae Benson; a sister, Laterica Williams- Heard; and a granddaughter, Tavyn Smith. Lloyd passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 44.

He is survived by his wife, Melody Anderson of Blytheville; his mother, Deborah “De Ella” Daniels of Blytheville; grandmother, Mrs. Mildred Evans of Blytheville; one son, Lloyd Anderson (Tatyana Pounds) of Blytheville; three godsons, Casimere Chew, Wilvontae Westmoreland and Tyree Johnson, all of Blytheville; two daughters, Yanila Turner and Essence Ward, both of Blytheville; a goddaughter, NiKylah Ousley, also of Blytheville; eight brothers, Dedric (Tamekia) Davis of Blytheville, Andre (Gwendolyn) Harvey, Eric Anderson, Marcus (Stacy) Anderson, Lloyd Anderson, Jr., all of Blytheville, Swan Young of Caruthersville, Mo., Schiawne Anderson and Shaquille Anderson of Oklahoma; one sister, Seven (Jordan) Guffey of Cullman, Ala.; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 23, beginning at 12:00 noon with funeral services being conducted at 1 p.m. at New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 534 Maple Street, Blytheville. Reverend Douglas Echols is the pastor. Reverend Jay Slaughter will deliver the eulogy with interment in Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery.
