Sue Hines

Sue Hines, 89, of Conway went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 13, 2022. She was born Sept. 26, 1932 in Blytheville to the late Rupert and Mary Elizabeth Martin Crafton. Sue was also preceded in death by her brother, Rupert Martin Crafton.

Sue is survived by her husband of 70 years Bud Hines, who she met in 1951 at the Admiral’s Garden Party at the Naval Academy, and they were married the following March of 1952. She is also survived by her son, Trey Hines (Kate); daughter, Libba Tierney; sister, Pam Blankenship (Koehler); grandchildren, Beth Tierney, Scott Tierney (Ashton), Alexandria Hines, Angelina Hines; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Sue was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church, PEO Chapter CA and the United Methodist Women. She was a Master Gardener, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Sue will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Food and Music Ministries or the Susan G. Coleman Foundation.
