Jessie “Jay” Raspberry III

Jessie “Jay” Raspberry III, 58 of Blytheville, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Jay was born in Blytheville to Sonny and Nancy Perkins Raspberry and was a lifelong resident of Blytheville. He was retired from John Shea where he worked as a concrete finisher. Jay was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved to hunt and fish.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Raspberry; and grandparents, Fotch and Lee Ora Raspberry and Finley and Ludie Perkins.

Jay is survived by his mother, Nancy Perkins Raspberry of Blytheville; sister, Teena Iglehart and her husband Joe of Mountain Home; and his companion of 22 years, Faye Lawrence Pate of Blytheville.

There will be private services for Jay’s family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Jay’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
