Patsy later worked as the assistant manager for Walmart in Siloam Springs. She lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker and wife. She was a selfless caregiver, caring for her husband for many years as he suffered from Alzheimer's disease. She had a strong, vivacious personality and was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor. Patsy loved to cook, homemade buttermilk biscuits and banana bread were a few of her family's favorites. Most of all she loved her family, treasuring her children, embracing her role as Memaw, and cherishing every moment with them. "She is vigilant over the activities of her household; she doesn't eat the food of laziness. Her children bless her; her husband praises her." (Proverbs 31:27-28) In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, India Lewis.
