Jamé Lorene Pearce, 61, of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Jamé was born in Providence, R.I., to Charles Lewis Weatherford and Norma Jean Kincaid Adams. She was a Gosnell Pirate, teaching French, business and computer science at Gosnell High School for 17 years and enjoyed watching her students' “light bulb” moments. She enjoyed cooking and making big meals for her family. Jamé was an avid reader and loved to sew and craft, especially with her favorite person, Jeni. Jamé treasured her family and always enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Glen Weatherford; and daughter-in-love, Autumn Pearce.

Jamé is survived by her husband of 37 years, Mike Pearce of the home; children, Rodney Pearce and his wife Jeni of Blytheville, Joshua Pearce of Holland, Mo., and Amanda Bottenfield and her husband Allen of Blytheville; grandchildren, Jasper Reed Pearce, Lillyana Gracie Bottenfield, Aubri Devonne Pearce and Charleerose Evelyn Bottenfield; sisters, Debbie Bagby of Harrison, Angel Self of Blytheville, Kathy Adams of Lee’s Summitt, Mo., and Charlene Bray of California; and mother-in-law, Evelyn Joan Pearce of Blytheville.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17, at 3 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Rigney officiating. Burial will be private.
