Calvin J. Wilhoite

Calvin J. Wilhoite, 70, of Turrell passed away June 8, 2022, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was a farm worker and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Wilhoite was born May 31, 1952, in Manchester, Tenn., to Howard and Lizzie Daniels Wilhoite. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary Wilhoite.

He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Norwood of Illinois and Jennie (Chris) Tucker of Forrest City; four brothers Joe Wilhoite, of Turrell, Homer Wilhoite of Parkin, Paul Wilhoite Beech of Nashville, Tenn., and Tommy Wilhoite of Mountain Home; four sisters, Betty Mars, Brenda Duboise and Wanda Fiveash of Brinkley and Marie Wilhoite of Harrisburg; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 11, at 10 a.m. at Gibson Bayou Cemetery in Earle with Lee and Russell Weiner officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza is in charge of arrangements.
