Gracie Lee Vance, 80, was born Jan. 18, 1942 in Sumner, Miss., to O.C. Morris and Georgia Martin. As a child, the family moved from Mississippi to Arkansas. Gracie attended Richard B. Harrison High School and was a successful business owner. In 1970 Gracie married James Vance. She enjoyed gardening, working crossword puzzles, reading and fishing.

Gracie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Curtis Morris; and a sister, Christine Jackson.

She passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at her home.

Gracie will be lovingly remembered by two sons, Michael Jackson (Jennifer Taylor-Williams) and Ronald Scott (Sherry Thompson); three daughters, Marsha Ann Scott, Cassandra Scott and Demetria Vance, all of Blytheville; one sister, Barbara Hunter of Cleveland, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.

Services of Remembrance will be conducted Thursday, June 16, at 2 p.m. at God’s Holy Temple Church, 2065 South Division, Blytheville. Bishop Randy Crenshaw is the pastor and eulogist. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery.
