Shirley Ann Vandergriff Smith

Shirley Ann Vandergriff Smith, 79, of Paragould passed away May 31, 2022, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Smith was born April 24, 1943, in Ripley, Miss., to William Henry and Winnie King Vandergriff. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Roy Kenneth Tice Jr.; one daughter, Denita Dawn Foreman; six brothers; three sisters and one grandson, James Daniel Chase Elrod.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Smith of Paragould; one son, Scott Foreman of New Braunfels, Texas; three daughters, Debbie (Douglas) Byrd of Osceola, Sharon (Jerry) Brewer of Searcy, Angie McMinn of Paragould; two stepdaughters, Amy Crawford of Paragould and Krystal Smith of Missouri; one sister, Terry Martin of Thaxpon, Miss.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, June 3, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 12 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Linda Thomas officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
