Michael Gregory "Sonny" Beecham

Michael Gregory "Sonny" Beecham, 63, of Luxora passed away May 29, 2022, at his home. He was a truck driver, a member of the Brotherhood and a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Beecham was born Sept. 28, 1958, in Driver to Marshall Tilmon and Norma Worthington Beecham. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carolyn Graves.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Beecham of Luxora; three sons, Paul (Tonya) Jones of Luxora, Carlos Payne and Warren Jones of Jonesboro; four daughters, Jeana (Kevin) Morris of Osceola, Jennifer Gibson and Kimberly Jones of Little Rock and Takara C. Thomas of Luxora; one brother, Steve Lewis (Leslie) of Blytheville; two sisters, Paula Cleggett of Silver Springs, Mo., and Janet Johnson of Osceola; 24 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great- grandchildren; special brother-in-law Jerry Phillips; special friends, James Speed and Jerry Brown.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 4, from 9-10 a.m. with the funeral at 10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Pastor Houston White officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge of arrangements.
