Tom Sutton Jr.

Tom Sutton Jr. of Blytheville was born Nov. 2, 1950, in Hollandale, Miss., to the late Tom and Malise Donald Sutton. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran and a member of Well Springs Church. Mr. Sutton passed away May 15, 2022, at the VA Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Sutton Sr., and his mother, Malisa Donald Sutton.

Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife, Tanja Sutton of the home; Tom Sutton III of Blytheville; five daughters, Latawnya Vail of Russellville, Sherita Yankaway of Blytheville, Natasha Mathia of Denton, Texas, Kayla Sutton of Conway, and LaShonda Sutton of Memphis, Tenn.; his brother, Leroy of Blytheville; four sisters, Blanche Sutton, Ethel Jean Adams, Anna Ree Echols and Betty Ann Chew, all of Blytheville; and 15 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 21, from 9-10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, with the funeral following at 10 a.m. also at Wilson Funeral Home, with Rev. Laddie Whaley officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Garden Cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home, Blytheville.
