Delia Shippen Partlow, 87, of Blytheville died Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

She graduated from Osceola High School and attended the University of Mississippi where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. Mrs. Partlow was an active member of the Mississippi County, Arkansas Library System. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Blytheville, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the American Colonists and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Circuit Judge Graham Partlow; her parents, Marguerite and Herbert Shippen; and her brother, William D. Shippen.

Mrs. Partlow is survived by her four children, Laura Partlow Foster (Mrs. John) of West Memphis; Dr. Charles Partlow and his wife, Ruth, of Columbia, S.C.; Peggy Partlow Cameron (Mrs. Jack) of Brandon, Miss., and Elizabeth Partlow Grimes (Mrs. Jeff) of Florence, Miss.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Lib Shippen of Osceola; and her sister-in-law, Pat Partlow Williams of Madison, Miss.

The family is profoundly grateful to Mrs. Partlow’s caregivers, Yvette Guyton and Whitney Guyton.

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 23, at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Blytheville. Burial will be private. The family will receive visitors immediately following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, 701 West Main Street, Blytheville, AR 72315, the Mississippi County Library, 200 North 5th Street, Blytheville, AR 72315, the Arkansas Northeastern College Scholarship established for Judge Graham Partlow, 2591 South Division Street, Blytheville, AR 72315, or the donor’s choice.
