Michael “Pappy” Lloyd Williams

Michael “Pappy” Lloyd Williams, 63, of Caraway passed away May 3, 2022, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born Sept. 14, 1958, in Jonesboro to Marion and Mary Ragsdale Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Wayna Williams of the home; three sons, Jonathan Williams (Taylor) of Batesville, Scott Williams of Black Oak and Nathan Henson (Kim) of Annieville; one daughter, Amanda Welch (Brian) of Benton; two brothers, Randy Stacy (Terry) of Arlington, Texas, and Billy Williams of Black Oak; four sisters, Sandy Mahan (Charlie) of Lepanto, Kay Blake (Bob) of Caraway, Katherine Nix of Jonesboro and Alice Weathers of Stillwell, Ind.; four grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Mary Williams; and one sister, Polly Brown.

Pallbearers are Bryan Cartright, Robert Clayton, Nate Henson, Richie Pace, Troy Douglas and James Salzer. Honorary pallbearers are Clifford Brown, Bill Gross, Josh Edgin, Charlie Mahan and Kenny Vaughn.

Funeral service will be held Friday, May 6, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Caraway with Bro. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

The family will receive visitors on Friday at the church from 12:00 until service time.
