Nina Jean King

Nina Jean King, 96, of Manila passed away at St. Bernards Medical Center on April 22, 2022. She was born June 18, 1925 in Atkins to Albert and Martha Goatz Ross. Nina was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a lifelong resident of Leachville. She enjoyed dancing, reading, and drinking her Pepsi Cola.

Survivors include one son, Charles Eubanks (Shirley) of Leachville; two daughters, Sharon Clark (Jessie) of Manila and Louanne Cagle (Wayne) of Leachville; four stepchildren, Rick King and Steve King, both of St. Louis, Mo., J.W. King of Arbyrd, Mo., Monica Clark of Monette; 20 grandchildren; several great- and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Nina was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Martha Goatz Ross; latest husband, Melvin “Babe” King; first husband of 26 years, Ambers Eubanks; one son, James Eubanks; one daughter, Betty Copeland; three grandchildren and several siblings.

Visitation is from 1-3 Tuesday, April 26, at Faith Funeral Service in Manila. Services will follow at 3 p.m. with Bro. Bobby Austin officiating. Burial will be in Leachville Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Dillon Mitchell, Dalton Mitchell, Dale Cathey, Ronnie Jr. Cathey, Jessie Clark and Jason Bailey. Honorary pallbearer is Michael Cathey.

Arrangements are under the care of Faith Funeral Service in Manila.
