Cleatis Bollinger, 102, of Manila, widow of Mr. Arlie Bollinger, passed from this life Friday, April 22, 2022, at the Woodbrier Nursing Center in Harrisburg. Born in Pocahontas, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Reedie Brashears Tyler and had been a longtime Manila resident. She retired from the Manila Nursing Center in 1987 with over 29 years of service. She enjoyed being a caregiver to her family, working in her yard, spending time with her family and was of the Church of Christ faith. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Glyn Dale Bollinger; one brother, C.C. Tyler; and three sisters, Beatis Tyler, Elzina Woods and Beatrice Meacham.

Survivors include her daughter, Nila Tarkington and husband Charles of Monette; one brother, L.C. "John" Tyler of St. Peters, Mo.; four grandchildren, Allen Dale Duncan (Erin) of Monette, April Tarkington of Manila, Heather Nance (Shawn) of Monette and Brandie Logsdon (James) of Spokane, Wash. She also leaves 14 great-grandchildren, two of which were especially close to her, Austin Duncan (Jayme) and Evan Duncan.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Rick Stevens and Rev. Jeff Miles officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Duncan, Austin Duncan, Evan Duncan, Randy Martin, Shawn Nance and Aiden Nance. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday from 12:30 until service time.
