Jimmy Lee Black

Jimmy Lee Black, 59, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away March 13, 2022. He was a car detailer. Mr. Black was born April 3, 1964, in Osceola to Solomon and Emma Jackson Black. He was preceded in death by his mother; one son, Christopher Fowler; and one sister, Emma Golden.

He is survived by his father, Solomon Black of Grand Rapids, Mich.; his wife, Eva Alexander Black of Osceola; one brother, Eddie (Alma) Black of Osceola; one brother-in-law, Tony Golden of Osceola; six sisters, Bertha (James) Rice, Myrtle (Arthur) Mitchell, Dorothy (Donald) Marshall, Joyce (Gennuso) Jones of Osceola, Diane Love of Sioux City, Iowa, Carrie Battles of Jonesboro and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 26, from 1-2 p.m. at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette, with Dr. Moses Black officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
