Robert Tanner

Robert Tanner was born Sept. 9, 1944, to Sidney Tanner and Maple Quall Tanner in Hughes. Robert departed this life Friday, March 11, 2022, in Fort Smith at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Beatrice Tanner of Osceola; two daughters, Angela Depriest of Osceola and Mary Branch of West Memphis; two sons, Michael Thomas and Timothy Tanner, both of Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Beatrice Randle of Minneapolis, Minn.; three brothers, Ray Tanner and Leroy Randle, both of South Bend, Ind., and Raymond Tanner of Hernandez, Fla.; a special cousin, Robert James Tanner of Mansfield, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 26, at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church from 12-12:55 p.m. Service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery, in Osceola.
