Willie Mabon Gladney

Willie Mabon Gladney, 59, of Memphis, Tenn., passed away March 8, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a retired Air Force officer and a security guard for Guard World in Memphis, Tenn., and a member of New Life Church in Memphis. Mr. Gladney was born Oct. 22, 1962, in Osceola to Mack and Bobbie Miller Gladney. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Summer Gladney; two brothers, Eddie Mack Gladney and Tony Gladney; and one sister, Blanchie Wilson.

He is survived by three daughters, Brittany Gladney of Southaven, Miss., Amber Harris and Ashlyn Gladney of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Ron Jefferson of Osceola; three sisters, Margaret Smith of Los Angeles, Calif., Helen Hewett of Gardena, Calif., and Betty Lewis of Osceola; and four grandchildren.

Visitation services will be Saturday, March 19, from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be the Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn., on Tuesday March 22, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Sammie Nelson officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
