William M. Treka, Jr.

William M. Treka, Jr., 78, of Horseshoe Lake, passed away Feb. 23, 2022, at Harris Healthcare in Osceola. He was a retired veteran who served in the Navy in the Vietnam Era. Mr. Treka was born Dec. 9, 1943, in San Antonio, Texas, to William M. and Rosalie Daniels Treka Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Treka of Horseshoe Lake; two stepsons, Tony (Edie) Mallett of Whiteville, Tenn., and Tracy (Tara) Mallett of Tunica, Miss.; two daughters, Joanne (Duane) Morgan of Atoka, Tenn., and Jennifer (Patrick) Cordell of Redmond, Wash.; one brother, Darryl Treka of Burnsville, N.C.; one sister, Phylis Treka of Sequin, Texas; four grandchildren, Dalton McMullen, Dakota McMullen, Justin Mallett, Abigail Cordell; one great-grandson, Kayden Mallett; a host of nieces, nephews and many cousins.

There will be a direct cremation with Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola in charge.
