Charles Douglas Skipper

Charles Douglas Skipper, 65, of Jonesboro departed this life on Monday, Feb. 1, 2022, in Jonesboro. He was born April 11, 1956, in Harrisburg to Charles William and Lula Maydell Rich Skipper.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Frank Skipper, Lillie Huffmaster Skipper, Lessie Meeks; and one sister, Thearsa Skipper.

Charles is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carrie Skipper of Jonesboro; three sons, Charles William Franklin Skipper and Heather of Harrisburg, Caleb Skipper and Taylor of North Little Rock and Josh Skipper and Linda of Jonesboro; one daughter, Sharleenia Winfrey and Chris of Hoxie one sister, Gail Metz of Marked Tree; one brother, Neil King of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Destiny Skipper, Chandler Skipper, Makayla Skipper, Wyatt Winfrey, Ethan Winfrey, Owen Winfrey and Sawyer Winfrey; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 11, from 6-8 p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 12, at 10 a.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree. Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree.
