Betty Sue Bell (Sloan) Power

Betty Sue Bell (Sloan) Power, 91, of Keiser, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022. She peacefully took her final earthly breath at the Manila Nursing Home as she entered into the presence of her Lord.

Betty was born at home in Martin, Tenn., on April 4, 1930, to the late James and Levi Chappell Bell. She lived her life for her family. Betty was preceded in death by her husbands, Sonny Power, Arthur Sloan and Ralph Tucker. She worked and retired from Viskase in 1993.

She leaves her son, Roger Tucker-Sloan (Kathy); daughter, Leva Tillman (Harvey Joe), and son John Sloan, all of Blytheville, daughter Jana Regan from Manchester, Ga., and step-daughter Lori Kerr (Dave) of Weir, Miss.; granddaughters, Christie Kennedy, Tiffany Tillman, Audrey Woodruff (Daniel); grandson, Paul Snyder (Erica); one sister, Oden Henry of Union City, Tenn.; nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild on the way.

Due to her acceptance of salvation, she now makes heaven her home and joins her parents, her husband Sonny Power; brother, James Bell and sisters, Louise Allen, and Carlene Coleman. 

Private graveside services will be Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 1 p.m. at the Obion County Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3939 Ken Tenn Hwy., Union City, TN 38261 under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home. Pastor Danny Rigney from Pathway Church of God will officiate and there will be no visitation. Pallbearers will be Roger Sloan, Harvey Joe Tillman, Sonny Coleman, James Allen, Time Henry, Paul Snyder, Ashton Kennedy, and Brayden Tillman.
