Jessie Lee Warren

Jessie Lee Warren, Sr. 92, of Osceola passed away Jan. 21, 2022, at his home in Osceola. He was a retired custodian, a member and a deacon of Pleasant Grove MB Church in Osceola. Mr. Warren was born March 15, 1929, in Marianna, to Felix and Alice Green Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lavern Warren; one daughter, Rosie Thomas; three brothers, John Warren, Robert Warren and Felix Warren, Jr.; two sisters, Janie Mae Hooten and Vera Lee Brown.

He is survived by one son, Jessie Warren, Jr. of Osceola; two daughters, Evelyn Richardson of Minneapolis, Minn., and Lillian Richardson of Osceola; one brother, Porter Warren of Marion; one sister, Virgie Woodson of Indianapolis, Ind.; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 30, from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove MB Church in Osceola. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Pastor Ed Richardson officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
