Eva Darlene Hetler

Eva Darlene Hetler, 75, of Leachville, widow of Billy Hetler, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born to the late Jack and Eva Dee Colburn Blocker, she was a lifelong area resident and had attended Leachville Public Schools. She was a member of the Leachville Church of Christ and was the former longtime manager of the Jr. Food Mart convenience store in Leachville. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Daryla Hetler, in 2008.

Survivors include one son, Bill Hetler (Janiece) of Jonesboro; one brother, Jim Blocker of Rineyville, Ky.; one sister, Carolyn Klocke of St. Louis, Mo. She also leaves two granddaughters, Chandra Tanner and Laci Hutchison; five great-grandchildren, Zane Tanner, Autumn Tanner, Drake Tanner, Wyatt Hutchison and Lily Hutchison; and a very special sister-in-law, Paulette Stewart.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery.
