Carol Moore Trapp

Carol Moore Trapp, 75, of Dell, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Carol was born in Joiner to Leslie and Martha Wood Moore. She was retired from Borg Warner and was a member of Cole Ridge Baptist Church. Carol enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing bingo and going to yard sales. Carol cherished her family and loved spending time with them, especially on holidays. Her greatest joys were spending time with her great-grandchildren and vacationing with her two sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gene and Dub Moore; and her sister, Louise Sawyer.

Carol is survived by her husband, Grady Trapp of the home; children, Geni Moore Lennon of Blytheville and Michael Moore of Dell; step-children, Sharrion Hayes and her husband Mike of Fair Oaks, N.C., Teresa Ruiz of Paz-Sioux City, Iowa, Bob Trapp of Hiawatha, Iowa, and Charles Trapp of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Sean Lennon of San Diego, Calif., and Ashley Farrell and her husband Eric of Blytheville; great-grandchildren, Grayson Griggs and Lakelyn Farrell; sisters, JoAnn Laury of Greenville, Miss., and Bobbie White and her husband Richard of Southaven, Miss.; brothers, Wayne Moore of Haines City, Fla., and Jimmy Moore of Aurora, Ill.; three step-grandsons, one step-granddaughter and four step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Walker officiating. Entombment will follow in Dogwood Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, face masks are required to enter the building.
