Ufelia B. Alvarado

Ufelia B. Alvarado of Manila was born Jan. 15, 1954, in Munford, Texas, to the late Bacilo Alvarado and the late Paula Betancourt Alvarado. She was a teacher’s aide at the migrant head start in Blytheville and was of the Catholic and Baptist faith. Ms. Alvarado passed away Jan. 11, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her father, Bacilo Alvarado; her mother, Paula Betancourt Alvarado; two brothers, David Alvarado and Noe Alvarado; and two sisters, Maria Alvarado and Lupita Serna.

She is survived by three brothers, Santos Alvarado (Josefine) of Blytheville, Bacilo Alvarado, Jr. of Caraway and Isaia Alvarado, Sr. (Maria) of Pocahontas; two sisters, Isabella Mireles (Pedro) of Marmaduke and Rosa Garcia (Gregorio) of Lake City; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 20, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville from 12-2 p.m. with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville
