Lillian Olena Miller

Lillian Olena Miller, 89, of Leachville, widow of Bond Lee Miller, passed from this life Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at the Manila Nursing Center. Born in Black Oak, she was the daughter of the late Garland and Dorothy Moss Finch and had been a longtime Leachville resident. She was a homemaker and a member of the Monette Assembly of God Church. Lillian enjoyed watching soap operas, working in her flower garden and shopping at Walmart. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Alan Miller; one brother, Ray Finch; and one sister, Ruby Shepard.

Survivors include one son, B. R. Miller and wife Judy; daughter, Doris Thomas and husband Gary, all of Leachville; four sisters, Betty Miller of Leachville, Shirley Pate of Paragould, Carolyn Shepard and Judy Tackett, both of Lake City. She also leaves five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Pastor Shawn McElhannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers will be Nick Carmichael, Will Carmichael, Preston Dunn, Blake Miller, Gage Edgin and Nick Love. Honorary pallbearers will be Brady Miller, Brody Edgin, Beau Miller and Keygan Edgin.
