Willie James Danley

Willie James Danley, 80, of Osceola passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at St. Bernards Hospice in Jonesboro. Born Dec. 12, 1941, in Luxora, he was a resident of CHC Harris Healthcare in Osceola. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo Danley, Sr. and Elander Danley; four brothers, Louis Danley, John Danley, Moses Danley and Alfred Danley; and three sisters, Mordie Canada, Lula Mae Ross and Mildred Cunningham.

He leaves to cherish one brother, Lorenzo Danley, Jr. of Bellville, Ill.; five sisters, Corrine Ware of Blytheville, Mamie Rugg of Osceola, Morliner Wilson of Memphis, Tenn., Birdie Johnson of Kansas City, Mo., and Doris Johnson of Blytheville; and one aunt, Fenola Richardson of Hernando, Fla.

The visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 15, from 9-10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with the funeral immediately following at 10 a.m. with Elder Johnny Moore officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
