James Alvie Collins

James Alvie Collins, 60, of Marked Tree passed away Jan. 7, 2022, at Three Rivers Nursing Center in Marked Tree. He was a farm worker and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Collins was born June 1, 1961, in Memphis, Tenn., to James Cleo and Mae Alice Miller Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Hershell Collins; three sisters, Geraldine Collins, Joyce Chriswell and Mary Whilhoite.

He is survived by one brother, Gene Collins, and one sister, Betty Williams of Marked Tree.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 12, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with the funeral to follow at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Gibson Bayou Cemetery in Earle with Bro. Patrick Tucker officiating.
