BPD urges caution on roads
Thursday, January 6, 2022
As of 8:45 a.m. Thursday, Blytheville assistant police chief Ricky Jefferson said the city's main roads are in good shape, though some of the side streets have begun to get slippery in some spots after being coated with snow.
Jefferson said the most traveled roads, including the overpasses, were salted on Wednesday.
He urged drivers to be cautious.
Area schools canceled today because of the winter storm, using an AMI Day.
