Mildred Jean Holt Williams

Mildred Jean Holt Williams, 84, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at Gosnell Therapy and Living Center.

Mildred was born in Savannah, Tenn., to James Ed and Captola Green Holt. She was retired from Kream Kastle and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed gathering with her family for dinners. Mildred was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and she never missed watching a game. She loved watching her soaps, westerns and church on television every Sunday. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she spoiled them often.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, William “Bill” Cash and Charles “Buddy” and Gary Wayne Williams; brothers, Jimmy, Joe and James Holt; and sister, Lena Harbin.

Mildred leaves her daughter, Diane Jarrett of Blytheville; grandchildren, Buddy Williams, Christina Atchley, Lloyd Cash, Cei Jai Schoolcraft, Joshua Hall, Dale Jarrett and Nathan Trantham; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; brother, Robert Holt of Blytheville; and special friends, Jeff and Suzanne Johns Wallace.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Rigney officiating. Burial will follow in Carney Cemetery.
