Katherine May

Katherine May, 67, of Osceola, passed away Dec. 14, 2021 at her home. She was a teacher's aide for special ed and of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. May was born Sept. 3, 1954, in Mississippi County, to Gene Carter and Lester Virginia Boyd Hubble. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Carolyn Wilson and Debbie Lancaster.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon May of Osceola; one son, James A. May of Buckeye; two daughters, Melissa Wilbanks of Carrolls Corner and Kasie Lowery of Garden Point; two brothers, Kenneth Carter of Dyess and Tommy Carter of Etowah; three grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 16, from 5-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial is at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah with Bro. Keith Stokes officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
