Eddie B. Jackson Miller

Eddie B. Jackson Miller, 78, of New York, formerly of Luxora, passed away Nov. 9, 2021, at Glen Cove Hospital in Glen Cove, N.Y. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Holy Ghost Temple COGIC in Luxora. Ms. Miller was born Dec. 30, 1942, in Osceola to Simon and Elmether Stephenson Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Miller; and one brother, Wade Jackson.

She is survived by one son, Rodney (Tracey) Carter of New York, N.Y.; two daughters, Teresa Carter and Patricia Miller, both of New York, N.Y.; three sisters, Elmether Kizzart of St. Louis, Mo., Lois Mabins of Osceola, Flora Jackson of Chicago, Ill.; four grandkids, Sheree Carter, Ryan Carter, Sade Jean Baptiste, Elmether Jean Baptiste; two great-grandkids, Melinda Miller and Victoria Alexandria.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 19, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 20, at 10 a.m. at Promiseland COGIC in Osceola with burial at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Shepherdess Lois Mabins officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
