Ryan Akeem Thomas

Ryan Akeem Thomas of Jonesboro was born March 19, 1987, in Blytheville to Esua Cade and Vanessa Thomas Goldsmith. He worked at Lowe’s and was of a non-denominational faith. Mr. Thomas passed away Oct. 14, 2021, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 34. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Rylin Charity Thomas and Rylah Serenity Thomas; and his brother, Esua Cade V.

He is survived by his father, Esua Cade of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; his mother, Vanessa (Eric) Thomas Goldsmith of Jonesboro; six sons, Lakalen Watson of Little Rock, Javaryan Thomas of Blytheville, Ryan Thomas, Jr., Isaiah Thomas and Brelyn Thomas, all of Jonesboro, and Aiden Jackson of Blytheville; six daughters, Zariyah McGraw of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Akirea Prunty, Aria Prunty, Rykayla Thomas, all of Jonesboro, Alana Jackson of Blytheville and Malaysia Heard of Gosnell; and one sister, Alicsaya Cade of Blytheville.

The visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, from 12-2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville, with the services immediately following at 2 p.m. with Rev. Burton Furlow officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
