Kymberli Sophia Bennett

Tuesday, October 19, 2021

On the bright morning of Aug. 18, 1967, a bouncing baby girl was born to Homer Moore and Dorothy Cushinberry and she was named Kymberli Sophia Bennett. Kymberli was one of two children. Kymberli gained her education through the Blytheville High School and later attended college at Parks Community College where she earned her diploma in Medical Secretarial/Transcription. Later Kymberli went to serve her county in the United States Army with exemplary service.

Kymberli met and married Anthony Bennett Sr. and out of that union they were the proud parents of Anthony Wayne Bennett Jr. (AJ). AJ became the love of Kymberli's life. She loved being a mom to AJ and being a major part of the lives of her niece Dionna and nephews, Melvin and Marcus. Kymberli loved family and spending time with her sister Pamela. After the dissolution of her marriage, Kymberli began working at the Veterans Administration as staff assistant to the associate director from where she later retired. Kymberli loved a good party and gathering with friends and family. Spending time with her cousin Valinda and her special friend Kenneth almost made the top of the list of the things she loved, but we all know her first love was shopping.

Kymberli was known for her loving, caring, calm and generous spirit. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for those that she loved near or far. On Sept. 27, 2021 heaven gates opened for one of God’s precious children. Kymberli was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son Anthony; sister Pamala; niece Dionna; nephews, Melvin and Marcus; dear friend Kenneth; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her love for all will be forever remembered and missed by all.

Visitation and funeral services will be conducted Friday, Oct. 22, beginning at 10 a.m. in the chapel of McDonald-Horne Funeral Home, 1207 South Division Street, Blytheville.
