Mary Christva Tolbert

Mary Christva Tolbert, 86, of Marion, passed away Oct. 8, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Crittenden in West Memphis. She was a retired factory worker and of the Pentecostal faith. Ms. Tolbert was born Oct. 22, 1934, in Whitton to Claude and Dora Gibbs Hunt. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Tolbert; one daughter, Paula Phillips; three brothers, William Hunt, James Hunt and Roy Hunt; and one sister, Sarah Ann Oliver.

She is survived by two sons, Danny Marrs of Tyronza and Christopher Tolbert of West Memphis; one daughter, Jolene Watson of West Memphis; four brothers, Claude Hunt of Marion, Robert Hunt and Terry Hunt of West Memphis and Paul Hunt of Southaven, Miss.; one sister, Linda Currie of Marion; two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Bassett Cemetery in Bassett with Reverend Jeff Crockett officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza was in charge of all arrangements.
