Gosnell getting Rotary Drug Take-Back Box from BPD

Saturday, September 4, 2021

During Thursday’s Rotary Club of Blytheville meeting, Blytheville Police Chief Ross Thompson (right) and Blytheville Assistant Police Chief Ricky Jefferson presented Gosnell Mayor Teresa Walker with the Drug Take-Back box, which was housed at the old Blytheville police station on Walnut. The Drug Take-Back box will be delivered to the Gosnell Police Department. The BPD is installing a new Drug Take-Back box at the new Justice Complex. Thompson said the Drug Take-Back box has been successful. Gosnell has seen an interest in having a Drug Take-Back Box for its residents to dispose of old medication. Rotarians are glad to sponsor both boxes and help publicize the Drug Take-Back Boxes to the community. If you have any unused prescription medications you can drop them off at either police department so they won’t end up in the hands of children or an addict.
