Leon Hogue, 71, of Memphis, Tenn., passed away Aug. 29, 2021, at Baptist Memorial in Memphis. He was a retired director of Calvary Street Ministry Half Way House in Memphis, a U.S. Army veteran and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Nash was born Feb. 27, 1950, in Tyronza to Frank Hogue and Malinda Lewis (Leroy) Nash. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Hogue; his parents, Leroy and Malinda Nash; and his wife, Carolyn Ann Hull.

He is survived by two sons, Gregory Hogue of Arkansas and Michael Hull of Blytheville; six brothers, Leroy Nash, Jr. of Luxora, Richard Nash of Blytheville, Eugene Nash of Fayetteville, Harold Nash of North Little Rock, Kenneth Nash of Gosnell and Patrick Nash of Wynne; five sisters, Mary Edna Rodgers of Memphis, Tenn., Dorothy Johnson of Birdsong, Linda Medley of Searcy, Sharon Stringer of Blytheville and Marlene Nash of Hollister, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 3, from 10:45-11:45 a.m. with the funeral at 12 noon at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Rev. Leroy Nash, Jr. will be officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at West Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn., at a later date.
