The Station keeps license

Discussion continued on alcoholic and business licenses in the city of Blytheville Aug. 17 at the full Blytheville City Council meeting. Blytheville Police Chief Ross Thompson recommended that the council remove the business license at The Station in last week’s police and fire committee. However, the council voted 5-1 opposing the chief’s recommendation, with councilwoman Barbara McAdoo-Brothers as the only vote to revoke the license. “So we as a city council are allowing someone to break city ordinances and state laws?” McAdoo Brothers asked.
