Quention Cantreal Bogard “Coach Que”

Quention Cantreal Bogard “Coach Que” was born April 3, 1985, in Blytheville to Earnest Bogard Jr. and Denese Bogard. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of Dr. P.J. James at St. Paul M.B. Church. Quention was a Blytheville High School graduate of the Class of 2003. He worked at Ryder in Jonesboro and as the assistant coach of a boys AAU Warriors basketball team in Jonesboro. Mr. Bogard passed away July 17, 2021, in Canton, Miss., at the age of 36. He was preceded in death by his parental grandparents, Earnest Frank Bogard, Rosie Lee Bogard, Jessie James McDuffey, Sr. and Mary Lou McDuffey.

He leaves to cherish his memories his four children whom he loved dearly, Ta’Nayah Bogard and Trention Bogard both of Conway, Jaylon Bogard of Carrolton, Texas, and Urijah Nickell of Walnut Ridge; his parents, Earnest Bogard, Jr. and Denese Bogard, both of Blytheville; one brother, Earnest (Keisha) Bogard III of Fort Worth, Texas; one nephew, Earnest Williams of Blytheville; two nieces, Jaliyah Bogard of Blytheville and Karis Bogard of Fort Worth, Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 13, from 5-7 p.m. at Mount Moriah M.B. Church in Blytheville. The funeral will be held the following day on Saturday, Aug. 14, at 2 p.m. also at Mount Moriah M.B. Church in Blytheville, with Rev. Earnest Bogard III officiating. The funeral will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
