P.S. Hall

Monday, July 19, 2021

Fifty-four years ago in Blytheville on Sept. 3, 1966, the Lord blessed Willie James and Clara Mae (Williams) Hall with a beautiful bundle of joy, P.S. Hall, “affectionately known as Pierce.” He was the only child born to this union and was well loved. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. James AME Zion where he played the drums and sang in the choir. He had a beautiful voice and loved to praise the Lord. Pierce attended William Allen High School in Allentown, Pa., and was a member of the class of 1984.

Pierce enjoyed working with his hands which led to him having various jobs throughout his adult life, and he was last employed by Ashley Furniture.

Pierce was the father of two children, Johnny, also deceased, and Cherish Hall. He was the grandfather of Seriyah, Davoney and Dejohn.

Pierce was preceded in death by his half-brother Ricky. He leaves in mourning his daughter, grandchildren, mother, father and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 24, from 10:00 until services begin at 12:00 noon.

Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon at New Jerusalem Christian Fellowship, 1215 East Street, Blytheville. Bishop Brian Olden is the pastor. Reverend Jay Slaughter will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow at Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery.
