Jeanie French

Jeanie French of Blytheville passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021, at her home.

Born to Charles “C.L.” and Mary Katherine Hardin Lucius, Jeanie was the owner of Jeanie’s Realty and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was one of the first women realtors in Blytheville. Before opening her realty business, she worked for the EOC. Besides traveling to Florida, working was one Jeanie’s favorite things to do along with playing piano and painting. She was a true “workaholic”.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jeanie is survived by her children, Gina Prestridge of Blytheville and Ken French of Vilonia; grandchildren, Josh Moerbe and his wife April and Meagan Moerbe; and great-grandchildren, Cruz and Cate Moerbe.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 15, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
