Darlene Anderson Johnson was born Aug. 27, 1972, in Blytheville, the daughter of Elijah and Katie Lee Shockley Henderson. Darlene attended the Blytheville School District and was employed by In Home Senior Care as a home healthcare giver. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Truelight Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. David Clark.

Darlene transitioned on Monday, June 14, 2021, at her home in Blytheville at the age of 48.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Annie Mae Hodges; and one brother, Roy Lee Henderson.

Darlene leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Ray Johnson of Blytheville; two sons, Albert Anderson and Africa Elijah Anderson, both of Blytheville; two daughters, Shidorurl (Richard Stapleton) Anderson and Lula (Brice Thompson) Anderson, all of Blytheville; seven brothers, John L. Henderson of Blytheville, Charles (Kasey) Henderson of Steele, Mo., Curtis (Sue) Henderson of Gosnell, Leonard Henderson of Jonesboro, Chris (Jamie) Clowers of Blytheville, Keith (Erica) Clowers of Caruthersville, Mo., and Mike Clowers of Blytheville; four sisters Shirley Eskin, Ella (Derrie) Hatcher, Patricia Diane Johnson, and Vickie (Victor) McKinney, all of Blytheville; 15 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 23, at 1 p.m. at Faith and Glory Christian Fellowship, 1510 Kari Lane, Blytheville, where Reverend Adron Poole is the pastor. Dr. David Clark will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow in Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
