James Anthony "Tony" Hood

James Anthony "Tony" Hood, 57, of Trumann, died June 11, 2021, at his home. He was a truck driver, U.S. Navy veteran and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Hood was born July 30, 1963, in Tupelo, Miss., to James Leroy and Doris Campbell Hood. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jimmy Hood and Roger Hood; and one sister, Marie Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Hood of Conway; one son, Anthony (Brittany) Hood of Greenbrier; three daughters, Ashley (Alexis) Hood of Ventura, Calif., Alyssa Hood and Amanda Hood of Conway; one sister, Liz (Michael) Simpson of Payneway; five grandchildren, Raelee, Shaylee, Abe, Delayna and Estella.

Funeral services were Monday, June 14, at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with Brother Jeff Miles officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza was in charge of all arrangements.
