Leon Burrow

Leon Burrow, 85, of Blytheville, formerly of Milan, Tenn., passed away May 15, 2021. Mr. Burrow was born in Milan to Floyd and Mary Burrow. He graduated from McCallie Preparatory School in Chattanooga, Lambuth University in Jackson, Tenn., and Vanderbilt Law School. He was a former deputy prosecutor and practiced law in Blytheville.

Mr. Burrow was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Claire Burrow Hudson. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Ellen Hastings Burrow, of the home and one son, Lee Burrow, of Blytheville. He leaves four grandsons, Landon Burrow, John Burrow (Erica), Jason Hudson (Erika), Zachary Hudson, and two great-grandsons, Chase Hudson and Ian Burrow.

Mr. Burrow was a 32nd degree mason and a member of the Al Chymia Shrine Temple, and past president of the Blytheville Bar Association and the Mississippi County Bar Association.

A private family service was held in Milan with Bodkin Funeral Home in charge. Brother Gary Yarbro of the Wilson Methodist Church officiated. Burial followed in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan, Tenn.
