Robert Lee McCormick, 88, of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021, at his home.

Robert was born in Kewanee, Mo., to Melton and Olean Roberts McCormick and was the retired owner and operator of Brite Way Lighting. Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending his time in Hardy fishing. Family was most important to him and enjoyed spending all of his time that he could with them.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara McCormick; his parents; three brothers, J.A., Altus and William McCormick; two sisters, Mary Wagner and Virginia Williams; grandson, J.T. Cole; and granddaughter, Barbie McCormick.

Robert leaves three daughters, Judy McCloskey of Blytheville, Tammy McCormick of Blytheville and Patty Cole of Forrest City; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 13, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Clinton officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Mississippi County Union Mission.
