Esther Smith

Esther Smith, 73, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at her home.

Esther was born in Big Spring, Texas, to Harol and Clarice Bailey. She was a homemaker and attended Bethany Baptist Church. Esther was raised in and formerly of Big Spring, Texas. She enjoyed reading and writing and her favorite book in the Bible was Psalms. She was an avid painter and loved to paint angels and crosses.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Smith, Sr.; and her parents.

Esther leaves four children, Arthur Smith, Jr. of Jonesboro, Bellecinda Hailey and husband Glen of Blytheville, Lester Ingold of Arizona and Julie Stockdale of Arizona; one sister, Cindy Yarbrough and husband Craig of Colorado Springs, Colo.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 13, from 5-7 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 15, at 2 p.m. at Ross Cemetery in Baird, Texas. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
