Geraldine Sibley

Geraldine Sibley, 86, of Jonesboro, passed from this life Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Born in Helena to the late Claude Ward and Edna Walls, she had lived most of her life in Helena and was retired from the former Bobbie Brooks garment factory. She loved gardening and spending time with her family, and was a devout Christian and member of the Valley View Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Newcomb (Lisa Marie) of Marietta, Miss., and Eugene Moody (Sue) of Dewitt; one daughter, Janet Gregory (Dennis) of Jonesboro. She also leaves five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, in the Nettleton Cemetery with Mr. Spencer Furby officiating. Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
